The non-profit company Bits & Grips with limited liability was founded in 1992 in Lohne (Oldenburg) / Germany, with the aim of teaching pupils of all types of schools in order to prepare young professionals and adults for a career through retraining.
In 2010 we moved to 79219 Staufen in the southwest of Germany (in the border triangle of Germany, France and Switzerland).
Bits & Grips has received several awards for its work in basic IT training and certification, 2011 awards from Federal Minister Dr. Kristina Schröder (Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth) and Annette Schavan (Federal Ministry for Education and Research). Most recently, we received the innovation award of VNN Federal Association of Tutoring and Afternoon Schools in 2019.
We are a partner in the Erasmus + program since 2018 and have been recognized as a pool partner since 2020.
We offer trainees from all professions and from all over Germany an internship abroad.
