The Richard Hartmann School is a vocational school centre that provides training primarily for the metalworking industry.

The man who gave the school its name was the founder of Saxony’s largest machine factory in Chemnitz and was known for his charitable and socially committed corporate policy. The RHS trains about 1500 students for over 500 companies.
