The Provincial Technical Institute (PTI), campus Science & Green, in Kortrijk is known as a secondary horticultural school, but the school is much more than that.

It offers its students a wide range of studies. Going from a very theoretical general education, to science-based, technical education, to more practical disciplines such as plant, animal and environmental techniques and specific professional directions including garden construction and maintenance, animal care and flower arranging. Furthermore, the school opts for innovation and sustainability, supported by management and its executive power. Driven by dynamic teachers, this has led to numerous projects that cross-subject and educational boundaries.

This broad school culture has led to cooperation with universities, colleges, pilot centres, industry and the school district, which stimulates our pupils and teachers to think innovatively and contribute to sustainable food production for the future.
